My how quickly things can change. I woke up this morning planning to get a good workout in, but instead.... Let me start by saying the boys are out of school, James is at work, and I've already burnt the biscuits. I'm a great cook but for some reason I can't figure out how to work our Cusinart deluxe convection toaster oven. But I've mastered how to make stuff chicken, and steak in it. Why in the deluxe convection toaster oven you ask, lol? Because the oven in this beautiful townhome hasn't worked since we moved in. I'm improvising waiting on the home warranty. God help me, I need some humor, so... I turned on old faithful, Netflix.
Needing a giggle and a belly workout (NO, I will not be doing planks this morning), I decided to finish the final episode of Grace and Frankie, season 6. After all, in my mind, I was sorta working out since I was in my leggings, tank and sports bra (on the couch in my uggs) watching the original workout queen Jane Fonda. I crack myself up.
So for the next 30+ minutes, I laughed out loud hysterically. Ooh, I needed that. From Frankie smoking a bong in a toilet, to Grace's credit cards being declined, to the light at the end of the tunnel, or shall I say in the couch (where I currently have my hiney sitting). If only I had a knife to see if there was $50k hiding in mine..
So from my broke couch to yours, know that some crazy is gonna happen. Don't judge it, embrace it, don't fear it, laugh at it. Because whether you like it or not, crazy is around the corner. It's all in how you look at it, on how well you'll get through it!
